My American Family

We went to see my American Family.
When I came to US as a student, I stayed with this family over six months. I was very comfortable and had fun with this family even though I could not speak enough English. Petey was in preschool and I picked him up from school every day. He was my good English teacher. Now he is in middle school. Alex was in middle school but now he is in college. Dennis and Patricia are always my American Parents.
If I did not meet this family, I am sure I went back to Japan sooner and I could not speak English. Thank you for having me for more than six months.
私のアメリカの家族に会いに行ってきた。
アメリカに最初に学生としてきた時、この家族のところに６ヶ月以上ホームステイさせてもらった。英語をほとんど話さない私が居心地が良いようにしてくれ、凄く楽しかった。ピーティはまだ幼稚園児で働いている両親の代わりに毎日幼稚園までお迎えに行った。時々幼稚園でボランティアもした。ピーティは私の英語の先生でもあった気がする。彼はもう中学生。９月からは高校生。アレックスは当時中学生。彼は今大学生で、エンジニアになる為に勉強中。デニスとパトリシアは常にアメリカのお父さんお母さんのよう。最初にこの家族に出会わなかったら、ちゃっちゃと日本に帰国して、英語を話す事なんて出来ていなかったと思う。みんな、長い間住まわせてくれて、どうもありがとう。
