That night we did color Easter egg, Taka started crying. He colored egg with his Grandma last year and two years ago, so coloring eggs made him remind his grandma. I am sure Taka is going to miss his Grandma every year at Easter.

Kaori,

I must say, Trudie LOVED that boy! And it was so evident because whenever our telephone conversations turned to Taka, she would be gushing in her detailed descriptions of Taka's visits; how one moment he wanted her to show him the operation of the keyboard. The next moment he would be adamant in telling her how it worked - although he might be pressing down on a particular key where it would continue repeating itself. Nonetheless, Trudie loved visits from Taka. Be it asking for popsicle or whatever. Taka made her day.

And don't you think for a moment that Walter was not equally gratified whenever Taka came around so he could engage him in lengthy conversations of various sorts.

But, I am a bit surprised that Taka's memory of Trudie would be so fresh and strong.

Taka is a precious jewel.

As I've said many time previously, if there ever was an angel here on earth, it had to be Trudie.

Say hello to the family for me.

Love,

Uncle Al

Uncle Al,
i was surprised too. he remember a lot about grandma, more than what i think he remembers. he talks about what garandma told or/and taught him. also Naoki too. when Naoki sees skinny old lady, he points her and call her Grandma.
hope both boys remember ms. trudie.
I did share your comment with Taka and he read that with Marvin. thank you for your comment.
Take care!
