As the Marvin/Kaori family unit was suspended over the summer months, once again they are intact. Yet, I'm sure that with most related situations there's the opposite side of the equation: The seperation caused by having to leave the graciously hosting Moro family and friends in Japan.
Hardly ever does life dish out sweets without at least a hint of distaste. Perhaps its in the overall out the sweets without a hint of distaste. Perhaps, the scheme of life is so designed whereby enabling us to develop awareness, judgements, relationships, appreciations and all sorts of other perspectives, that is providing we allow our philosophical view to predominate our thoughts.
To those of you in Japan, forced for the time being, to encounter the absence of two certain entertaining and handsome little dynamo boys, their void cannot be without some pain. Yet, I presume, given the choice of having or not having Kaori and the boys for the summer would be, using a sport's vernacular. "A slam dunk!"
On behalf of the Horton family on this side of the globe and to the Moro family, for making your daughter and grandsons' summer so memorable, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
uncle Al, how are you? thank you for your comment. yes, my mom told me she felt empty and Taka is same way. he crys everyday since he came home. it has been for almost 2 weeks. but we are fine and he start going to school. he is in the first grade. we are going back next summer again. hopefuly he will not forget how to speak japanese. take care, uncle AL!

そうなの、なおくん男の子になってしまったよ。でも、みんなに不評なので、伸ばすんだってさ。
別人だ～！本当に「誰？」と思ってしまいました。髪の毛でこんなに雰囲気がかわるものなんですね。でも、男の子っぽくて、これもかわいいですよ！
