授業参観 Open House

今日は小学校の授業参観でした。一日中授業参観で、いつ見に行っても良いと言うシステム。
見に行ったら、3時間目の英語の授業中で、たあくんが「Brown bear, Brown bear, What do you see?」
Today, it was open house at Taka's school. Students had a usual class and parents can go see them all day or any time.
When I went see Taka it was English class and Taka was reading "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" for everybody. After that they had a class about food. They learn how to use chopsticks and Japanese table manners. Taka was practice picking up Azuki beans. And we had a lunch with kids. Japanese school lunch was good as before.

Hi Kaori,

I'm so proud of my nephews and the outstanding means in which they are being reared. And the comfort and ease to assimilate are attributes of great value.

Maybe Naoki will be okay on the tractor with his Ojiisan this summer, and I'm sure Taka will be in the kitchen with his Obaasan "teaching" her how to cook much in the same fashion when he was really little telling Trudie how to type on her computer.

Taka really looks very much at ease with his classmates and for him to read to the class must have been satisfying - - I know you were proud of your son, as well you should be!

Will he be taking anymore to Dr. Kumon's courses this summer?

Treasure and enjoy the time with your family and friends.

Please pass my very best to your family.

Love,

Uncle Al

P.S. You know I can close my eyes and almost hear the sounds dating back to my six years in Japan, view the shoppers in the marketplaces, see the rumbling of the trains and driving on the right side of the road - very fond memories they are.

Hello uncle Al.
Taka is enjoying going to school so much here. He looks like he has been in this school since begining of school year. Yes, Taka want to go to Kumon again. You know about Taka well!
Naoki is enjoying looking at rice farm everyday on the way to go meet Taka at the school. There are a tadpole and rice is growing.
I hope spendding time here makes some difference for my son's lives.
I am sure it is HOT in TX so take care and say hello to Mr. Campy for us.
